The “Fashion Is Art” competition at the 2011 Traverse City Wine & Art Festival on August 20th offers all festival-goers a chance to win our grand prize valued at over $1000!
Festival attendees who wish to participate are invited to dress-to-impress to win prizes. Judges will be circulating the festival selecting their favorite Fashion is Art attendees. Judging will be based on the most creative, flashy, bold, original and dramatic examples of FASHION IS ART.
“Our festival is all about delighting everyone who attends with a feast for all the senses,” festival coordinator Laura Herd explained. “This year we’re doing even more with the atmosphere and performance artists, and we wanted to create a way for people who attend to be a part it all as well. We’re just looking for your own expressions of style. You don’t have to spend a lot of money and you certainly want to dress to enjoy our beautiful setting on the lawn at the Grand Traverse Commons.”
